Abstract
The article presents an approach to optimizing the composition of properties of industrial products under development, based on solving the problem of a "multidimensional knapsack" with Boolean variables. The objective function and constraints correspond to economic and technical interpretation. The article considers the type of products, the configuration (composition of properties) of which is determined by the technical characteristics added to a certain basic configuration, and their options.
