Abstract

The indicators of innovation performance of EU countries tested and evaluated by methods of multivariate statistical analysis. It is shown that the modifi ed method of principal components to create the summary innovation index gives the ability to emphasize the most signifi cant factors, which can be regarded as growing-points of innovation development.
